“We often get compared, you and I. When we speak of beauty, virginity, our transience.
Our short period of bloom.
The time to pick us, lust over us.
You are the only one who hears it when i’m on my bike, the only one who hears it when i’m walking home.
The witness to my existence as a woman.
I’m collecting our words. Words that have been around for multiple seasons. The words we carry with us.
The witness of spring.”
